ANSWER: Carol was probably too weak to call out. Daryl did have to carry her out of there. She was supposed to be exhausted from the ordeal and weak from lack of food and water and adrenaline crashes and just hoping they heard her when she was thumping at the door with the body blocking it...

She heard them walking by, was too weak to call out, so she attempted to push the door open and couldn't, or was moving the door to get their attention at least.
